SOLNAC & BETTER GOVERNANCE PROJECT AGREEMENT
The Somaliland National Aids Commission has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Better Governance Project a nongovernmental organization based in Sweden, with the aim of cooperating in the “Stories of Stigma” project. Which aims to reduce discrimination and stigma faced by the PLHIV in Somaliland though an example joint TV and media campaigns. The Somaliland National HIV/AIDS Commission (SOLNAC) will play a central role in deciding the final media campaign approach, based on the advice of the partners. In developing the video and media engagement strategy together with SOLNAC the project will seek to transfer skills to staff in its Awareness and Mobilisation Department so that they are inspired and empowered to develop similar campaigns in the future using their new knowledge and resources.
